PROVIDENCE, R.I. — After remaining unoccupied for what seems like an eternity, the vacant WaterPlace Restaurant is set to get a new lease on life.
The WaterPlace Restaurant has picture perfect view of the city’s skyline in the heart of downtown Providence, but it has been subject to neglect and vandalism. That, however, is set to change.
A group of local business leaders led by Atom Media Group CEO Michael Mota intend to revitalize the aging Waterplace Park by converting the restaurant into an upscale events venue called the Skyline at Waterplace.
